Book Post #4

Everything came back to Artemis, like how he kidnapped holly and how he stop opal from taking over Haven. He remembered how Holly helped save his father and how they became friends.Now with all his memories Artemis thinks of a plan to stop opal from revelling Haven to the humans. Opal was useing a proble to go to the earths core witch is where Haven is. For the proble to get into the city opal would need to put bombs under the wall around Haven to open a hole for it to go threw. Opal was going to have to place the bombs at the last min so the sercuity system wouldn’t pick it up in time. Artemis knows that this is opal would proably do so Artemis tell everyone what they need to do. After everyone knows what to do Munch gets out and digs under opals craft. Then Butler makes a draction by droping bombs around. While butler is doing this munch go’s into opal’s craft and takes the bombs and hides them. when opal finds out the bombs are missing she go’s after Artemis and while she is after Artemis she is trying to detonate the bombs when  Artemis sends her a messages telling her to look in the box in the floor when she does open it she finds the bombs. As quick as she can she egects from the ship and as soon as she hits the ground the bombs blow up.

Book post 3

While Holly and Artemis are taken away by opal, Butler wakes up and finds out that Artemis was missing. Butler think that Holly kidnapped Artemis is going to hold him for rasom. Then butler gos on a plane to Fowls manor. When Butler gets to the manor he gets a message saying that Artemis is safe and that the person that took him was a friend and was named Holly and that she was a elf also they have been taken by Opal a crimal that they helped take down. After Butler finish reading the message he hears someone and go’s to see who it is. When Butler go’s into the kisten he finds Munch eating everything. When Munch see’s butler he gives him a disc, on the disc there were 2 files one with his name on it and one with Artemis’s name. After Butler read the file he remembers everything.         

Book post 2

After holly takes Artemis to a safe place , he wakes up. Before in the last book Artemis and butler were mind wiped so he cant remember holly. So Artemis trys to find out what Holly is. Then Holly tells Artemis of everything he did. He cant remember anything but he still believes Holly Then Opal comes and takes them away.

Book Intro

The book im reading right now is Artemis Fowl The Opal Deception. The main people in the book are: Artemis fowl, Butler Artemis’ bodyguard, Holly shorts a LEP captain, munch deggums a drawf, and Opal koboi the Villian. At the beginning of the story Artemis is trying to steal a picture called “The Fairy Thief” . When he gets it he waits till he gets back to the hotel hes staying in before he opens it. When he gets back to the hotel he starts to open it when butler runs into Artemis room and grabs him, then butler grabs a mattress and jumps out the window. When Artemis looks back as they are falling a missle hits the hotel room, then they hit the ground. Butler is knocked unconscious and Artemis is badly hurt when he tries to get up one of his ribs breaks threw the skin and then he falls unconscious. Holly is there when Butler jumps out the hotel window and when she finds Artemis unconscious and bleeding she starts to heal him with her magic and then takes him away .     That is what happends in the first 4 chapters.

Shields in the Middle Ages.

 

In the early middle ages a shield was the best thing a knight would have to protect himself. A shield was made from wood, leather, or metal. The most common shield used was the kite shield. The kite shield was round at the top and pointly at the bottom, it is shaped like a up side down rain drop! There were many other types of shields some were: The heater shield, The bukler shield, The pavise or wall shield, and the targe or target shield. The heater shield was used by knights that were jousting. The bukler shield was a small round shield that could be hung on our belt. The pavise or wall shield was used by crossbow men so that they could reload without getting shot in the process. The targe or target shield was the traditional Scottish round shield that the scottish would use in the middle ages. 2025

In 2025 I will be 29 years old. I went to a site to see what career would be good for me. To see what careers would be good for me I had to answer 116 questions. After I saw what careers it said that were good for me I didnt know why I got those careers, but when I when back to see how I got them then I found out why. For one question it ask if I like taking orders and I said yes. For my fourth career I got Infantry. The one I was hoping for my first was police officer, but it was my 14th. The reason it was 14th is because one question was If you like working under pressure and I said no. Who likes working under pressure? I know I wouldnt. But the one I didnt think I would ever get in a million years was to be a brewmaster! It was my 20th career on the list. ( If you dont know what a brewmaster is … it is some one who makes beer.)But I dont think I want to be a brewmaster. I dont think I want to be a Infantry ether. I dont know what career to choose. What do you think I should go with?

Canadian Troops in Iraq

In Iraq the canadian troops are fighting to help the US in the war. The canadian troops have lost 141 troops and aren’t going to back down from Iraq now. I think the canadians should come home from Iraq because it not our war and we may not win this war.There has been many canadian military velicles brought to Iraq with weapons that are surpose to be the best, but in a war like this one even the best are not always enough. There has been many canadian soldiers killed in this war which means many love ones lost. Even the families of the fallen soldier doesn’t unstand why we are fighting a war that isn’t even ours.

Racism

Racism is a big issue all around the world. Just because they look different doesn’t mean you be rude to them or treat them differently. There are three types of racism they are: 1)Racial discrimination 2)Institutional 3)Economic. Racism could also be because of their religion and belief and colour of your skin. I think people who makes Racist comments are very rude and should look in their own corner before making comments about others. The colour of someones skin has no baring of who they are as a person.

Unclean water…

Unclean water is one of the most reason children in third world countries die. I don’t know how many children die each day from unclean water. I think over 1000 children die each day …but im just guessing , it could be more or less im not sure. I wish there was a way to make the water clean for them to drink. Unclean water has diseases and bacteria that could be fatal. What causes water to be unclean? well pollution is one reason. There is alot more reasons for water to be unclean.  oils in the ground and old garbages is also some reasons. There are some reasons we dont know about and may never know about.
